I am a middle-aged freelance travel journalist and mental health worker with a passion for bringing the reader on the journey with me through stories and photographs. I also have added to this blog a couple of other categories in “football”, “reviews” and “life”. I am writing these blogs as memoirs of a long semi-professional football career as a player and coach, and an unusual life starting as one of 9 children in Western Australia, through to a 6-year military career and 25 years in sales management.

All blogs are 3-5 minute reads with photos attached.

I am lucky to have a beautiful partner, Lynda and 2 gorgeous daughters Corrie and Mia all based in Melbourne. When not travelling I am a Disability Support Worker and indulge in music, movies, reading, theatre, comedy and my beloved St Kilda Football Club.
